Here at Friendly Ford, we believe our commitment to the community goes beyond the vehicles we sell. It’s about building a better, stronger, and more compassionate town for everyone. That’s why we are incredibly proud to announce a special partnership with the renowned organization, Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP). Together, we are standing behind their powerful mission: ensuring that "NO KID SLEEPS ON THE FLOOR IN OUR TOWN!"

To make this vision a reality, we are closing our dealership for a very special event. On Saturday, September 20, 2025, we will be transforming our space into a workshop of hope for a Bed Build with Sleep in Heavenly PeaceWe are calling on our community to help us make a significant impact. We have an ambitious goal to recruit at least 150 volunteers to help us build beds from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM right here at the dealership. Absolutely no prior experience is necessary to participate in this incredibly rewarding day. All you need is a willingness to help.

There are multiple ways you can contribute to this wonderful cause:
  • Volunteer for the Bed Build: Roll up your sleeves and join us for a few hours of building, camaraderie, and purpose. You can claim your spot by visiting the event page on Facebook.

  • Donate to the Bedding Drive: From now until September 19, 2025, we are collecting new, twin-sized bedding. Please consider donating comforters, sheet sets, and pillows at the dealership drop-off location.

  • Make a Financial Contribution: Monetary donations are crucial for purchasing the raw materials needed for the beds. To amplify your generosity,

Friendly Ford Lincoln will be matching all financial donations up to $12,500! Checks can be made payable to Friendly Ford Lincoln. As a small token of our appreciation, every donation—whether bedding or financial—will earn you an entry into a special drawing!

This event is more than just building furniture; it’s about building dreams and providing children in our community with a safe, comfortable place to sleep. For any questions, please don't hesitate to contact Kelsey Smith at (734) 243-6000. Let's come together and ensure every child can sleep well to dream big.
