This weekend, the air in Newport will be filled with the nostalgic rumble of history. Long before the F-150 became an icon of American strength, Ford was a revolutionary force on the farm, and we're excited to celebrate that rich heritage!

Friendly Ford is proud to be a sponsor of the 34th Annual Antique Tractor & Engine Show, hosted by the Southeast Michigan Antique Tractor and Engine Association. This year's event is especially exciting for us, as it's Featuring Ford & Ferguson tractors—a direct link to the innovation and durability that still defines the Ford brand today.

Join us this Friday, July 18th, and Saturday, July 19th, at Nike Park in Newport for a fantastic family-friendly event. It's a perfect opportunity to step back in time and show the younger generation the machines that built our community. The weekend will be packed with activities for everyone:

  • Tractor Displays & Daily Parades: See beautifully restored antique tractors, including classic Ford models.
  • Flea Market & Craft Show: Browse unique items and support local artisans.
  • Food Trucks & Entertainment: Enjoy delicious food and a lively, festive atmosphere.
  • Kids Games & Tractor Games: Fun for the entire family!

As dedicated members of this community, the team at Friendly Ford wouldn't miss it for the world. We will have our own tent set up at the event, and we invite you to stop by and say hello! Come chat with our team about everything from the historic Ferguson to the latest Ford lineup. We love talking about the legacy of power, reliability, and innovation that connects these incredible antique machines to the vehicles in our showroom today.

Talk about loyalty: A Massive Congratulations to Christopher

Talk about loyalty: A massive congratulations are in order for Christopher, who is heading home today in a sharp new 2025 Ford F-150 XLT in Carbonized Gray. This isn't just any new truck for Christopher; he estimates this is his 15th F-150! He's been a dedicated F-150 driver since 1999, upgrading on average every two years. We are absolutely honored by his incredible loyalty to the Ford brand and to our dealership. A big thank you to his salesperson, Andy, for always taking care of him.
